A Special Award for Parish Councils 

2025 was a landmark year as Cumbria in Bloom celebrated 40 incredible years! To mark the occasion, we  introduced an exciting new award designed specifically for Parish Councils.

It was a sucess and one will continue with for 2026.

A Celebration of Community Spirit

 We are inviting Parish Councils to put forward entries for this prestigious award, recognising the dedication, passion, and hard work of volunteers and local groups who help to enrich and enhance their communities.

This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase local pride, encourage community involvement, and celebrate the people who make a real difference in their towns and villages.

Awards & Recognition

Each participating entry will receive:

A Participation Certificate
A Level of Achievement Award – ranked from 1 to 5 Cumbrian Flower Emblems
A Special Overall Winner Award

The Parnassia palustris – A Symbol of Cumbria

 To honor this milestone, we have chosen Cumbria’s county flower, the Parnassia palustris, as the emblem of this special award. This delicate yet resilient flower reflects the spirit and strength of our communities.

We can’t wait to see the incredible efforts of Parish Councils and their communities—let’s make 2026 a blooming success!
