RHS Launches New Grant Opportunity

The RHS has launched a new grant – the RHS Connected Communities – Network Development Grant which is open to Britain in Bloom and It’s Your Neighbourhood groups. Applications will open at 10am on Wednesday 5th April and close at 5pm on Tuesday 2nd May. Grants of between £1,000 and £5,000 will be available to support groups to create new, or develop existing, gardening and growing networks. We will be looking for applications from networks (made up of 3 or more groups) which are either doing something new or developing their existing work. Grants will be made to networks which strengthen local community gardening or growing projects and benefit local communities; create and develop long-term connections between local groups; encourage the sharing of gardening and growing skills, knowledge and resources among groups; enable new or different audiences to start growing; and build knowledge and understanding of what helps to make local gardening and growing networks successful.

Full details, including eligibility, criteria and how to apply, can be found here – https://www.rhs.org.uk/get-involved/community-gardening/connected-communities-network-development-grant
