In June 2023 our Year 4 pupils have been working with Nestle on a social enterprise project called Bright Stars. The children decided they would like to grow and sell vegetables to people in the local area. They have also raised funds for both their Bright Stars venture and The Salvation Army by making and selling biscuits and cupcakes, as well as tomato plants which were available for any donation. They have also been working in our school garden to plant a variety of herbs and vegetables so they can continue their Bright Stars work.
