On 14th December 2021, Penrith Community Gardeners added their contribution to the celebration of 175 years of the opening of Penrith Railway Station. 175 strawberry plants and the same number of packets of saved Sunflower seeds are on our handcart outside the station ready for folks to take for free. So easy and cheap to do as a way of encouraging the public to ‘grow for healthier living.
This is a fantastic initiative by our wonderful Penrith volunteers.
